Providence: Prostate & Lung Cancer Screening Event
Providence Mission Hospital is hosting a Prostate and Lung Cancer Screening Event on Saturday, April 13 at the Leonard Cancer Institute at Providence Mission Hospital.
Screening for cancer increases the opportunity for early detection, before symptoms are present and when the chance of a cure is highest.
You may be eligible for lung screening if you:
- Are between 50 and 80 years old
- Currently smoke or have quit within the past 15 years
- Have smoked more than one pack a day for 20 years or two packs per day for 10 years
You may be eligible for prostate screening if you:
- Are male and between 45 and 75 years old
- Have not had a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test in the last 12 months
Please note: Once you submit your contact information on the next screen, a navigator will call to pre-qualify you for the event. If you qualify, you will be scheduled for a screening appointment.
