Ocean Institute presents its Maritime Festival happening September 12-14, 2025!

The Ocean Institute's Maritime Festival celebrates California's rich maritime history and our connection to the ocean!

This is a fun filled weekend event with visiting Tall Ships, Cannon Battles, Beer Gardens, Mermaids Swim Show, Pirate School, Live Music, Reenactors and Sailor Camp, Vendors, Food Trucks, and MORE!

Chart your course to the event! The Ocean Institute offers FREE Shuttles from Dana Hills High School on Saturday, 9/13 and Sunday, 9/14 from 6:30am-8:15pm. The FREE Dana Point Trolley will also be in service on Saturday, 9/13 from 10:00am-10:00pm and Sunday, 9/14 from 11:00am-8:00pm. View all parking and shuttle options here.
