Our speakers are ocean researchers, authors, artists, athletes, and many more respected professionals who support our mission of ocean education and conservation.
Distinguished Speaker: Johanna Gutleben
In this talk, ocean researcher Johanna Gutleben will share insights into cutting-edge ocean science and exploration, highlighting the discoveries and challenges scientists face while studying the deep sea. Johanna is a marine biologist and underwater photographer whose work focuses on deep-sea ecosystems and the fascinating species that inhabit some of the most remote parts of our ocean. Through her research and storytelling, she brings these hidden environments to life and helps audiences better understand the importance of protecting them.
Through stories from the field and real-world research, guests will gain a deeper understanding of our ocean’s most mysterious environments and the role scientists play in uncovering and safeguarding them.
