Handbags for Hearts

Handbags for Hearts is accepting donations of gently used handbags, personal care items, and monetary donations. Handbags will be filled with personal care items and donated to women in need in partnership with Cali Choise (formerly LivingHelp Center of Downey), Soroptimist International of Capistrano Bay, and SparkPoint South Orange County. 

Donation items can be dropped off to the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce by February 2nd. Handbags will be filled on February 10th at the Dana Point Community Center. 

Items for donation include: 

• Gently used handbags (of all sizes)
• Monetary donations
• Purchased personal care items:
  • Combs/Brushes
  • Toothpaste/Toothbrushes
  • Shampoo/Conditioner (full size)
  • Lotion (full size)
  • Cosmetic Bags/Makeup Remover
  • Feminine Products
  • Deodorant
  • Nail Care
  • Purse-size Tissues 
• Small Notepad/Pens
• Socks
