Doheny Art Intuition Series: Watercolor Workshop

Mindful Watercolor Workshop with Kacie Lyn Martinez will take place on Thursday, May 14 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Doheny State Beach (Picnic Area B). This beginner-friendly, outdoor workshop invites participants to slow down, observe deeply, and reconnect with their creativity through watercolor painting. The cost is $55 per person and includes all materials, water, and nourishing snacks (parking not included).

In this workshop, participants will:
• Learn simple, expressive drawing techniques
• Use mindfulness to quiet self-doubt and spark inspiration
• Explore emotion, environment, and intuition as creative fuel
• Connect in a welcoming, judgment-free space

Led by artist and facilitator Kacie Lyn Martinez, whose work has been exhibited across the United States and commissioned by organizations including Asana, Inc. and The Other Art Fair, this workshop is designed for all experience levels.

All materials will be provided, including sketchbooks, pens, pencils, and paints. No prior experience is needed.

This class is held outdoors. While shaded areas are available, participants are encouraged to dress accordingly.
