Join us for a relaxed, one-hour outdoor sketching workshop by the ocean at Doheny State Beach. With sketchbooks and pens provided, this session is designed to help you loosen up, tune into your surroundings, and discover how inspiration can come from anywhere—especially nature.
Guided through a series of simple, accessible activities, you’ll learn ways to observe more deeply, stay present, and move past self-judgment into creative flow. The focus isn’t on making “good” drawings, but on building tools you can use anytime to spark ideas and stay creatively open, whether you’re by the sea or in everyday life.
No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Come enjoy fresh air, gentle guidance, and the rhythm of the waves as you reconnect with your creativity.
